Job Title: Dy. General Manager - Purchase
Location : Mumbai
Experience : 10 to 12 yrs in large scale procurements of Raw Materials for APIs & CRAMS
Qualification : B.Sc.(Chem.)/ M.Sc.(Org. Chem.) / BE(Chem.) with PGDMM

Purpose of Job:

Responsible for defining and implementing the purchase policies for meeting the Company’s Business Plans.

JOB PROFILE :

Key Responsibilities :

1. Drive standardization of processes and procedures, transaction methods with suppliers, supplier selection processes / ongoing supplier management, data collection, negotiation, performance improvement, cost reduction and communication strategies.
2. Participate in existing and new product planning processes to assure timely acquisition of materials.
3. Lead negotiation efforts on purchase agreements and vendor contracts with a bias for achievement of quality, delivery, cost containment and process improvement.
4. Develop and maintain systematic, analytical and results-based method for monitoring supplier’s performance and communicate these results to the suppliers and end users. Provide timely and actionable information for corrective actions to be taken where necessary to both the supplier and end users.
5. Manage and support corporate oversight for purchases, across multiple expense categories and driving purchasing synergies to achieve cost savings across company product lines.
