at Chemspec Europe 2008 |
Calyx received good response during the recent ‘Chemspec
Europe 2008’ event held in Munich, Germany from
June 18 – 19, 2008. There were potential business
meetings with our customers and this event provided
us an additional platform for showcasing our custom
manufacturing and custom synthesis capabilities. We
take this opportunity to thank each and every visitor
to the Calyx Stand at Chemspec Europe 2008, for their
valuable time and attention.

at CPhI China 2008 |
The ‘CPhI China 2008’
at Shanghai was held during 24 - 26 June 2008.
It was the biggest annual networking and business
opportunity for Asia's pharmaceutical ingredients
and services community. There were nearly 1600
exhibitors from 20 countries and almost 20000
attendees.
Calyx participated in the event with a booth
in Hall 1 for international exhibitors. There
was a tremendous response both by way of scheduled
meetings, walk-in visitors and also during
visits to booths of other exhibitors. Calyx
sources many materials from China for its
established APIs and also for new development
projects. The event resulted in consolidation
of Calyx presence in China, with better relationships
for continuous supply of the raw materials.

GC
Lab at Calyx R&D commissioned |

Recently
we have commissioned an additional GC Lab at
our new R & D facility. This Lab houses
8 GCs, 1 GC-MS and GC with headspace. The GC
Lab will cater to in – house as well as
external customers for identifying and analyzing
samples having vapour pressure. Residual solvents
with dilution limits as low as 0.2 ppm can be
analysed by Headspace GC.
