•  R&D successfully  completed a project  involving  5  chemical  steps followed by optical  resolution  on  kilogram scale.
  
  
•  Four  "gram"  scale Custom  Synthesis projects  were   completed. Two of  these  projects   were  materialized  by Business Development initiative
   for  'Product Catalogue'.  One  project  involved a  product derived from our API and was developed 
   for an Innovator  company. This project presents
   new process challenge and   we look  forward to
   kilo scale development in future.

What is CRM and how does it  matter to our customers? Customer Relationship Management {CRM}  is a mindset. CRM is a way of life. We have embraced  CRM  to realize our philosophy  that  puts the customer  in  the centre of
our operations. We provide our Business Development and Sales teams with the CRM tool to track information that allows them to provide not just good service but great service.

CRM  software provides  360-degree view of our  customers  integrating  company information  at  every touch point.
It enables our business to  be  efficient, productive and responsive to the  increasing demands of  our  customers. It allows for robust, comprehensive reporting and analysis  capabilities. Besides creating and  maintaining history, our CRM forces  inter-departmental  collaboration, co-ordination and  accountability. It  enforces  proactive  and  prompt actions.

We  understand  that  there is  no latitude  for confusion  between what  customers receive and  what kind of service and product they are interested in.

The prevalence of  TB grew significantly  in  the late 1980s and 1990s, driven by  cases  in  sub-Saharan  Africa, but also by  a  resurgence in  both  the US and  Europe,  where  TB  had  been considered an  eradicated  disease. The  WHO identified TB as a global health  emergency in 1993 and launched the Global  Plan to Stop TB, which focused
on early TB diagnosis and reliable access to treatment.

From a   market dynamic  perspective, the  incidence of  TB is now  stable or  falling in  five out of  six WHO regions but growing in Africa, where the TB epidemic is still driven by the high rate of HIV infection.

The  five  mainstay   TB  treatments—rifampicin (also  referred to  as rifamycin), isoniazid,  pyrazinamide, ethambutol and   streptomycin—were   introduced  between  1948  and  1963,  and  are   all   available  generically.  The  current gold-standard treatment for active TB is a six-month regimen with rifampicin and isoniazid, supplemented in the initial two  months  with  pyrazinamide and  either  ethambutol or streptomycin. This combination has  the three  properties required for  effective  TB  management: antibacterial activity, capacity   to  inhibit the  development of resistance and efficacy against persisting organisms.

Calyx is the  global leader in  Pyrazinamide and  can  offer the  entire basket of anti-tubercular  drugs. Since 2006 we have been manufacturing  Isoniazid and  Rifampicin  and a few more  anti-tubercular  drugs are in the  pipeline. Calyx  is the only WHO-Geneva approved manufacturer of Pyrazinamide and has the US DMF and EU CoS.
